Welcome to petDiagnose (the “Site”). By accessing or using any feature of the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.
1. Nature of the Service
The Site provides pet-disease knowledge articles that are automatically generated by AI and informed by publicly available literature such as PubMed. Content is for educational and reference use only, and is not medical diagnosis or treatment advice.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Disease information, symptom descriptions, lab-indicator ranges, and management notes on this Site cannot replace the clinical judgment of a licensed veterinarian. If your pet shows any signs of illness, you must consult a licensed veterinarian. The Site assumes no legal liability for decisions you make based on its content.
3. Accounts and Conduct
You may register an account to use features such as comments and bookmarks. You are fully responsible for activity under your account, and agree not to post unlawful, harassing, abusive, misleading-medical, or rights-infringing content. The Site reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts.
4. Donations and Payments
The Site accepts one-time donations through third-party processors (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) to support hosting, AI, and database costs. Donations are non-refundable once completed and do not constitute a promise of any specific feature or service level.
5. Intellectual Property
The code, design, trademarks, and AI-curated compilations on the Site are owned by the operator of petDiagnose; cited PubMed papers remain the copyright of their original authors. Reproduction, modification, distribution, or commercial use of Site content in any form is prohibited without prior written permission.
6. Third-Party Services
The Site relies on third-party services including Supabase (storage & auth), Stripe / PayPal (payments), Google OAuth (sign-in), and Google AdSense (advertising). Using the Site means you also accept the respective terms of those providers.
7. Changes to the Terms
The Site may modify these Terms at any time, with updates published on this page. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any dispute arising from your use of the Site shall be submitted to the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
