Content License

This page explains the ownership and licensing terms for the different types of content on petDiagnose.

1. Disease Encyclopedia Content

Disease pages (covering symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, etc.) are automatically generated by AI agents drawing on publicly available medical literature such as PubMed. The compilation, structure, and presentation of this text is the copyright of the petDiagnose operator. Reproduction, modification, distribution, commercial use, or use in training other AI models is prohibited without prior written permission.

2. Cited PubMed Articles

Each disease page lists the PubMed articles it references. Those articles remain the copyright of their original authors and publishers. We present only abstracts and citations, with links to the original DOI / PMID. Any reuse of the cited literature must comply with the terms of that publication.

3. User-Generated Content (Comments)

You retain ownership of comments you post on the Site. By posting, you grant the Site a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to reproduce, adapt, transmit, edit, and display the content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Site. You are responsible for ensuring that your posts do not infringe the rights of any third party.

4. Code and Design

The Site's source code, UI design, layout, typography, and color palette are owned by the petDiagnose operator. Reproduction or adaptation is prohibited without prior written permission.

5. Trademarks and Brand

The “petDiagnose” name, logo, and related identifiers belong to the Site operator. Use in any commercial, promotional, or potentially confusing context requires prior written permission.

6. Fair Use

Limited excerpts may be quoted for educational, journalistic, or academic purposes provided proper attribution (including a link back to the Site) is given and the use is non-commercial. For larger or commercial use, please contact us for licensing.
